Gather your supplies--- grab every pretty paint, ink, stamp and glitter glue you can find! :) Also, grab some printer paper!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><img border="0" height="300" s5="true" src="_XAEtJEBWiF4/TTg-6GNUxVI/AAAAAAAACNo/DoZPu_0rrX0/s400/002--282-29.JPG" width="400"/></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">2. Color your pages. Here are some techniques to try:</div><ul><li><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Ink- run ink pads across your page.</div></li> <li><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Write. write all across your page, use song lyrics, a poem, or just random words.</div></li> <li><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Remember how much fun crayon rubbings were as a kid? break out the crayons and play around.</div></li> <li><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">paint, use acrylics, watercolors, etc.</div></li> </ul><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I really wanted a watercolor look, but I didn't have any watercolor paints. So I filled a plastic cup with water, and squirted in a few drops of acrylic paint, and voila! water colors! </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">3. Once you have all your pages colored, back 2 of them together, and sew along the edges. repeat with other pages.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><img border="0" height="300" s5="true" src="_XAEtJEBWiF4/TTg-_p2ExjI/AAAAAAAACNw/XkU_-K6AyFo/s400/011.JPG" width="400"/></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">4. Fold in half, and start art journaling. It was a real eye-opener. One in 3 Dallas Kids fall below the poverty line and are hungry. The food bank supplies food for 13 counties, not just Dallas. Only 9 percent of the people that receive food from the pantry are homeless, the rest are your neighbors, seniors and co-workers. They may have jobs, even degrees but don’t make enough to keep food in the house without help. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br/> </div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none; text-align: center;">When most people donate to food drives, they think CANNED GOODS, well let me tell you, green beans, peas and corn are fine, but there is usually an overabundance of those donated and who really wants to eat JUST green beans, peas and corn? Even when you are hungry, you appreciate a variety. Dry goods are especially needed, cereal, rice, dried beans, macaroni and cheese Peanut Butter. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br/> </div><div style="text-align: center;">I am challenging all of <a href="http://www.punkprojects.blogspot.com/">PunkProjects</a> Followers: Donate a bag of groceries to your local food pantry and make it anything but green beans, peas or corn!! Sign in using your Twitter information. Twitter.com let you confirm that you would like to give this website permission to pull your information.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br/> </div><div style="text-align: center;">When you get on, you'll see this:</div><div style="text-align: center;"></div><div style="text-align: center;">You will need to decide how you want your newspaper to be created. You have a few options, including only having your information, your information PLUS those of the people you follow, and a certain hashtag! It's pretty impressive, to tell you the truth.</div><div style="text-align: center;"></div><div style="text-align: center;">I selected to create a newspaper with my information plus the people I follow</div><div style="text-align: center;"></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br/> </div><div style="text-align: center;"></div><div style="text-align: center;"></div><div style="text-align: center;"></div><div style="text-align: center;"></div><div style="text-align: center;"></div><div style="text-align: center;"></div><div style="text-align: center;"></div><br/> <div style="text-align: center;">Pretty neat, right? It has all the sections of a normal newspaper! Do you see any of your tweets in there?</div><div style="text-align: center;">I went ahead and tested out what the hashtag newspapers would look like.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br/> </div><div style="text-align: center;"><b>Here is the #Etsy paper I created:</b></div><div style="text-align: center;"></div><div style="text-align: center;">The newspapers are updated every 24 hours, if it hasn't updated, there is a refresh button you can use. That means you can create 10. I would search for a newspaper before creating one...which I learned after I used a bunch of my credits!
