I recently checked out the book Mason Jar Crafts: DIY Projects for Adorable and Rustic Decor, Storage, Lighting, Gifts and Much More by Lauren Elise Donaldson from the library. All of the projects were super pretty, but I really liked the color blocked mason jar I saw.
I had these empty loose leaf tea jars. Since they had the little spoons, they make perfect glitter jars.
Supplies: Mason Jar or Tea Jar, Tape, Acrylic Paint, Mod Podge
1. Empty and clean out your jar.
2. Remove any labels.
3.Tape off a section of your jar.
4. Paint the bottom section of your jar, once that is dry go over it with mod podge to keep the paint from chipping off.
I did a second jar using alcohol inks. I turned the jar upside down and dripped alcohol inks down the sides.

Very cool! The painted one with the glitter inside looks so cool! :)
