A Messy Art Journal Page

I started by painting the background white and adding purple along the edges. Once that was dry I doodled the little girl, wrote out my quote and then got messy with water colors.

By here's my secret: I didn't actually use water colors. I scribbled with Posca markers onto an acrylic block and watered it down a little. Instant watercolors!
