Moving is always an adventure. Especially when you're moving across the country.

Have you been doing any art journaling?

  1. I haven't made any actual journal pages recently, but I have been binding journals and doing some planning for a new blog series on art journaling.
btw, I really like your journal. Did you make it yourself? :)

    1. Thanks, Marisa! I am actually using a small notebook for my art journal, recovering the pages as I go.
What's the link to your blog? Your new blog series sounds fun. :)

    2. Small notebook? I had no idea! For some reason I always thought it was big, like 10 inches. It looks like it makes a great art journal :)
My blog is at I'm just getting started with blogging, but I love it so far! I'm hoping to have the art journal series up by early September if not sooner.

    3. It's about 6"x6". So not too small, but not big. ;)
I will definitely be checking out your blog, welcome to the blogging world!

  2. I really like your drawing make me think about the movie "up". I've been doing some background with distress ink, dylusions ink and panpastel for scrapbook pages or journal don't know yet and i've started a canvas. :)

    1. Sounds like fun! My drawing was inspired by UP. :)

  3. I haven't been doing a ton of journaling in my actual art journal, but I did a few Dear Person letters today in my small sketchbook, and I actually started another even smaller notebook for quotes and for pasting in my polaroid photos. :)
Journaling of any kind is the best!!

    P.S. I like your handwriting. ;)

    1. Really? You like my handwriting? I've always thought it was pretty messy. ;)

I love your comments!
