I had the awesome idea the other day to recover my boring metal scissors with some cute scrapbooking paper from my stash, and I decided to do a little tutorial for you guys---
I really love how personalized you can make them with just a tiny bit of paper! These would make a great gift for a crafter. Send me a picture if you make these, I would really like to see your version!

Such a cute idea!

ReplyDeletecute!! i love this!!
ReplyDeleteI am going to be doing this for my scissors at work. I am a floral designer and in my shop we have 5 pair of scissors and each pair is for a different need. I am constantly replacing scissors that will no longer cut ribbon because it was used for other purposes, this is a great way to beautify and label. Thanks for the idea.
ReplyDeleteWWWHHHHHAAAAT, this is totally one of those why-didn't-I-think-of-that-*facepalm* ideas. Seriously, WAY TO BE, these are so cute!!
ReplyDeleteThey look great, do you think they will keep though after you use them a lot?
ReplyDeleteBrilliant!
ReplyDeleteAwesome Tutorial! I think I'll do the same to my boring scissors..
