Photoshop tips and tricks part 2 - Actions

Here's part 2 of my mini blog feature - Photoshop Tips and Tricks!

Using photoshop actions!
(The version of photoshop I will be using is photoshop 7.0, these tutorials might vary with other versions of photoshop.)
Photoshop actions are a super easy and quick way to edit your photos!
One of my favorite places to download free actions are from the CoffeeShop blog. they have alot of awesome actions you can download.

Click the "window" tab at the top of the screen and check the ACTIONS option. a Small window should open up on the right side of your screen.
It may look like the window on the left, if so: Click the arrows on the top/right corner of the actions window (We will call this the "more options" button) and click "button mode" that will make your actions look like the picture on the right.
After you have downloaded some awesome actions, to load them into photoshop click the 'more options' button and choose 'load actions.'
choose which file you want. for this tutorial I downloaded the "selective color" action. It allows you to convert your picture to B/W and making one color stand out, or only leaving color in one object.
open up your photo in photoshop, and try out different actions! With this photo, I used the 'Selective Color' action, and made every black and white, except the flower. It really make it stand out.
xo, Katie
