DIY Stamped Fabric
Hey everyone, today I am up on the Paper Wings Productions blog sharing this tutorial for creating hand stamped fabric.
My mom is a quilter (and we're both on the Love my Fabrics design team!), so Taylor and I created a bunch of fun, hand printed fabrics to give to her for Christmas and this is one of them!
All you really need is cotton fabric, fabric paint, a palette (or paper plate, something to squirt your paint on.), a brayer, and stamps!
Spread out a little fabric paint onto your palette and press your stamp into it like you would an ink pad. Then, Stamp your design onto your fabric just like you would paper!

Oh wow, what a great idea! I'm both quilter and stamper, but had not thought of combining both. I really like the look of your fabric.
ReplyDeleteSo simple. I adore the fabric you made by the way!
ReplyDeleteSuper adorable!! I can just see a cute quilt made out of this fabric. ;)
ReplyDeleteThis is so cool. These would make great embroidery patterns!
