Get Messy Thursday- Season of Magic Week 4

Hey guys, Since it is Thursday, I am sharing a peek into my art journal. This is the Season of Magic  in the Get Messy Art Journal community, so my pages are inspired by that.
For this season I am working in a variety of art journals. I will be doing pages in my Season of Words altered bookThis ebrushed journal, as well as working some of the prompts into my December Daily album.

Let's start with my favorite page first, shall we?

I got a bit crazy with the paint on this page. Normally, painting like this is really hard for me, because it's too much like abstract and I just can't do it. I guess I'm too much of a perfectionist?

This time though, I LOVE how this messy painting turned out.

I hadn't planned on adding the moon to it, I had printed out the moon for a different page, but It was laying next to this colorful page on my desk and it was just begging to be glued on top.

This next page is also bright and colorful. A painted background, with gelli print circles and a fabulous quote.

Last weekend I did a mini photoshoot. I set my camera up on a tripod down by our river and took self portraits of me with books. Some were just normal photos, and a few I did "levitating photos" where you magically levitate. I have skills, yo.

I used a couple of those photos in my art journal, because it is the Season of Magic after all, and books are pretty magical.

I also did one more Christmas-y art journal page in my December album! It's not too artsy, but I used a gelli print background, and did a bit of gold doodling.

I kinda love all of the pages I made this week, which doesn't always happen.

Sort of unrelated- there are only 2 weeks to Christmas Eve!
