Visiting the CHA MegaShow 2015

Last weekend was the Craft and Hobby Associations mega show in Anaheim, California. I've known about the show for years, but have never had the opportunity to go, I've always just looked at photos of friends who have gone and watched the online product releases of all of my favorite crafting brands.

This year, however, I finally got the chance to go! If you didn’t know, I am the Indie Crafts editor at Craft Gossip. That includes posting tutorials, featuring etsy shops and posting about the latest gossip in the crafting industry. I went to CHA as "press" for craft gossip, and got badges for Taylor and I so that we could get in.

I've been going to the Great American Scrapbook Convention for about 7 years, but it's nothing like this. In size comparison, I was blown away by CHA. (although I was told it's gotten much smaller over the years.)

I actually flew into phoenix the week before and then Taylor and I drove to Anaheim, CA. We had never been to L.A., so we were pretty excited! :) sadly, we only had time to go to CHA for one day, so we missed a good number of the booths, but I made sure to hit the ones I REALLY wanted to see.

I will be sharing more of my favorite products from the show later this week, but for now, here are a few (okay, a lot) photos from my trip!

    1. I guess you could have gone with MAMBI? You wou;d have loved it, maybe next year?? :)

    2. Yep with mambi. :) I'm hoping next year happens!

    3. Maybe the paper show in Chicago this summer? :)

  2. You lucky duck! I'm so happy you got to go! I bet it was so much fun being around all those craft supplies, glue fumes and crafty people. Did you get to go to the Plaid booth? I'm a big fan of Cathie Filian and Steve Piacenza which usually work at the Plaid booth.

I can't wait to see your other post :)

    1. It was such a neat show!
And yes, I did stop by the plaid booth, although I didn't talk to them because they were pretty busy. ;)

  3. Omg! You must've been awestruck!!! Have a blast and keep sharing! <3 :D

    1. Awestruck and slightly overwhelmed! It was HUGE, but amazing! :)

  4. That looks like it had to be THE TIME OF YOUR LIFE. LOL And you probably wanted SO MANY THINGS! What a neat experience!

I love your comments!
