Tie-Dyed Shirts for Nerds

After making my ombre swirl tie-dye shirt for ILTC's Tie Dye Your Summer Campaign, I decided to play with the tie dye a little more, making some nerdy t-shirts.

I saw a tutorial for this amazing tie dyed Captain America shirt on the I Love to Create blog. You can find it here. Since I am super nerdy, I had to give it a try.

I think it turned out pretty awesome.

I did another shirt, this time a stargate theme, using the same general technique-a bullseye. (Learn how to make it here.) I used teal dye for the middle of the bullseye. I watered down black dye to make grey for the outside of the bullseye.

I used some of Tulip's fabric paint to paint on the gate.

Now I just need to figure out how to make tie dye shirts for ALL of my fandoms. (Star Trek, Xmen, Avengers, etc!)
