Believe in Yourself with Art Anthology

Hey Everyone, today I have Kristie Taylor guest posting here on Punk Projects! Kristie is an amazingly talented artist who designs for Art Anthology and today she is sharing a tutorial for this gorgeous mixed media canvas. It definitely makes me want to grab my supplies and get messy! :)

Believe in yourself with Art Anthology by Kristie Taylor

Step 1. Prepare your canvas, I adhered lace, chickenwire, cardstock shapes, chipboard shapes and added Texture paste.

Step 2. Coat the entire canvas with Gesso and allow to dry, then spray Art anthology Colorations sprays in "Walmea Bay ,Denim, Lark,Pesto,Guacamole,Glorious, Timeless and Honey bee. work in sections to create , grass, sky and Sun areas.Dry between each color so that the colors dont all mix together.

Step 3. Paint onto the background Art Antholgy Sorbet Dimensional paint in Evergreen, June bud, Baby blue eyes and Honolulu blue.

Step 4. Use Art anthology dimensional crystal as a paint to paint the sun with "sunbeam and Guava", and to add more color to the grass with "Pickle and Fairy".

Step 5. Once the paint dries(if you are impatient like me then use a heat tool to spped up the process)add another layer of Colorations sprays.

Step 6. Use a stencil and Art Antology Colorations sprays on a piece of watercolor cardstock. Then either use a stencil or draw three lotus flowers, cut them out and adhere to the canvas.

Step 7. Add stems and a title. thats it you are done! and just look at that lovely piece of art you created!
Art anthology Paint, sprays and crystal make it super easy to create artwork with beautiful color and great dimension!

Thanks so much for looking!
