A Spring Mini Quilt

I stitched up this mini quilt last weekend. It took me about 3 hours, but all of the 5" squares were precut so that helped it work up pretty quickly. I loved the cream fabric with the purple and pink flowers, so on my large block I painted on purple flowers to match.

For the quilting I just did straight lines on all of the small blocks, but then I free motioned around my painted flowers to help them stand out.

Do you quilt? I don't do it often, but my Mom is an amazing quilter and sometimes I get inspired by her to make a quilt. :)
