Just Beachy Embroidery Pattern Review + Giveaway

Emily, the artist behind the Just Beachy Embroidery Patterns, asked me if I'd be interested in reviewing one of her patterns. I love helping out other artists and reviewing products but I'm the first to admit that my embroidery skills aren't super.

I love the look of hand stitching I just don't often have the patience to do it, but every now and then I will pick up a needle just for fun.

I was originally planning to stitch the Just Horsin' Around pattern on a piece of muslin, but then I thought "why not on paper?" Then I can include it into my scrapbook. So that's what I did.
I actually only used part of the pattern on my page (just the seahorse) but I think I'll stitch the whole thing, maybe on fabric this time.

Here's what you get with the Just Horsin' Around pattern:

Instructions and Tips.

Even for a beginner embroiderer like me, the instructions and pattern were pretty easy to follow! I had to leave a few stitches out of the tail, simply because paper rips easily and you can't poke too many holes in it. ;)

I think the design of the pattern is just gorgeous. Isn't the little seahorse adorable?

Here's a picture of Emily's beautiful stitching:
