SFTIO Blog Hop

Welcome to the Scrapbook from the Inside Out (SFTIO) Design Team Blog Hop! We are showcasing layouts by the current design team using the June kit TRANSFORMATION. If you are just arriving at my blog, make sure you go to the beginning at Melissa's blog as you won't want to miss out on all the gorgeous inspiration. During this hop we are saying goodbye to some of the ladies that have been part of the SFTIO family for over a year. We are also saying HELLO to our new TEEN COLLECTIVE. What is a "Teen Collective"?
We are combining the Teen Designers from CreateU with our Design Team at SFTIO. This is a wonderful opportunity to have each of these girls give their perspective of the monthly emotion. Each Teen Designer will be joining us for one month as a Guest Designer but, will be a constant and active "voice" on our website and forum.

Or, if you're geeky like me, the Teen Collective is like the Borg Collective. You will be assimilated.
Ready to begin?

Today I'm sharing one of my favorite layouts I made using the CreateU Friendship kit. I really loved the colors, especially of the background paper I used. To continue with the swirls, I used white paint and added a few of my own and then once they were dry I added my journaling on top of the swirls.
My journaling is about the friendship of my Mom and I. She's more than just my Mom, she has been and always shall be my friend. (more Star Trek quotes, haha.)

Here's a little peek at my journaling. I love this layout, I can always look back at it and see how my Mom and I have changed but still friends. :) She rocks.

GIVEAWAY! We also have a fabulous prize! Leave a comment below letting me know your name, email address and if you like to scrapbook about meaningful things by Saturday, 9 p.m. pacific time. The winner will be announced by Monday on the SFTIO Facebook and the SFTIO blog.

Also, if you comment on each blog participating in the hop, you have more chances of winning!

Next on your hopping adventure is Diana. Click here to be taken directly to their blog.

  3. I really like how you did the swirly journaling! Very cool! And the shoes above are awesome. Melissa, smith2581@sbcglobal.net. I have found as my girls are getting older and about to graduate and leave the nest, my journaling has gotten much more meaningful. I will even go back and do pictures of them when they were littler and tell them my thoughts about that time :)

  6. love your LO! the journaling on the swirls is great!! I love to scrap and journal about meaningful things. I don't have children, so my scrapbooking is really just for me, not something that will be passed on to the next generation. So scrapping about meaningful things is a great release!
