So Thankful- An Art Journal Page

I created this page for Faber-Castell's November "Take the Challenge". This months challenge was to create a project about something you're thankful for.
To create the textured look, I covered parts of my page in rumpled masking tape and then just painted over it. It's a super easy way to add texture.

 So thankful for:

  • Family
  • Puppies
  • Tea
  • Autumn
  • Sharpies
  • My Talents
  • Music

  8. Wow, that masking tape technique gives such a different texture, very clever. I, too, use my journal for lists and I really like looking back at them after a few months.

  9. Wow, your page is cool! I really like the combo of pink and black, and the roughness that the masking tape gives.
