Pretty Paper Recycled Bowls

Good morning guys! I hope you are enjoying all of these tutorials & guest posts on Punk Projects while I'm off on my adventure??
Here's another fun tutorial for you---
Supplies:
Plastic Cup or bowl
Old, ugly paper
Acrylic paint
Glue (elmers, etc)

Tools:
Food Processor or blender
Large Bowl
1. Tear paper into small bits, soak completely in water for 2-8 hours.

2. Drain almost all of the water off, transfer to food processor and pulse until pulpy.

3. Transfer to a large bowl, and add 1 tsp of glue and 3 tbs of paint. (I used red, orange and yellow paint) Note: If you do not add any paint, the bowls will turn gray.

4. Press clumps of paper onto the outside of plastic cups or bowls, completely covering them.

5. Squeeze off excess moisture. Allow to dry completely, or they will fall apart. Overnight is best, or just in the hot sun.
6.Gently remove the plastic cup from the inside and decorate as desired. (ink, paint, ribbons).
7. Fill with trinkets, candles, etc.
