Felt Feather Mobile DIY

Hey you guys, I made this fun mobile for our back porch yesterday and i thought I would share the tutorial with you guys! It was inspired by some chimes my mom has hanging up outside. enjoy.... :)
Tools and Supplies: Sticks, Fabric Strips, Felt, Sewing Machine or Needle and Thread
step 1. Go outside and choose 3 sticks. I wanted some that were a little curved upward..
2.Take your fabric strips and tie your sticks together. I used alot of small strips and tied them together.
3. Cut out some Felt Feathers, I layered them so that each feather was 2 pieces of felt.
4. Starting at the point, Sew up your to pieces of felt. But when you get to the end so cut the threads.
instead, pull your feather out and cut it so that there is about 5 extra inches of thread.
5. Tie the feathers to your sticks.
6. now hang up your mobile!! I think this is perfect for spring. what do you think?
xo, Katie
